Francesco Chiodelli segnala che mercoledì 4 marzo 2026 si terrà il seminario “International legal frameworks and their im/possibilities: The dispossession of Palestinian Bedouin communities in the West Bank”, tenuto da Alice Panepinto (Queen’s University Belfast), seguito dalla proiezione di un documentario di circa 30 minuti.
It will be followed by “We Will Remain”, a 30-minutes documentary that intimately portrays the threatened Palestinian Bedouin communities scattered across the Jerusalem desert in the West Bank.
Alice Panepinto is a Reader in Law at Queen’s University Belfast. Alice researches international law and human rights with a regional interest in the Middle East. She is the author of “Truth and Transitional Justice: Localising the International Legal Framework in Muslim Majority Legal Systems” (Hart, 2022) and lead editor of “Ending Impunity for International Law Violations: Palestinian Bedouins and the Risk of Forced Displacement” (Hart, 2025).
