Workshop “Techno-Geographies of AI” (Milano 27 marzo 2026)

Fabio Iapaolo segnala il workshop “Techno-Geographies of AI”, che si terrà il 27 marzo 2026 a Milano, presso il Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci.

If you happen to be in Milan on Friday 27 March, we’d be delighted to welcome you to “Techno-Geographies of AI”, an in-person workshop exploring the geographies of AI across algorithmic, urban, and planetary scales.

Speakers: Vladan Joler (SHARE Lab), Marta Peirano (columnist at El País), Gillian Rose (University of Oxford), Antonello Romano (University of Pisa), Devika Narayan (University of Bristol), and Fabian Ferrari (Utrecht University).

An evening session, in Italian, will also take place at the same venue, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, featuring a conversation between artist/researcher Vladan Joler and journalist Alberto Puliafito (Slow News/Internazionale), followed by an aperitivo. Registration for the evening session:

The event is a joint initiative of META – Social Sciences and Humanities for Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano, the Center for Digital Visual Studies (University of Zurich / Max Planck Society), and Algorithmic Societies (Durham University), with the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia as cultural partner.
