Quale futuro per le ONG italiane? Una lettura critica dell\u2019evoluzione recente della cooperazione non governativa<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Negli ultimi anni la cooperazione internazionale ha vissuto importanti trasformazioni che hanno riguardato anche le ONG italiane, modificandone gli obiettivi, le strategie e le modalit\u00e0 di azione. Oggetto specifico di indagine sono le trasformazioni strutturali che stanno interessando il settore, poich\u00e9 queste producono conseguenze rilevanti nella modalit\u00e0 di agire delle ONG e dunque nei territori coinvolti dai progetti di cooperazione internazionale. In particolare, la ricerca, basata su dati quantitativi e documenti istituzionali, segue tre questioni specifiche: la dimensione delle organizzazioni, la dipendenza delle ONG dai finanziamenti pubblici, la depoliticizzazione del settore. L\u2019analisi descrive uno scenario piuttosto diversificato, all\u2019interno del quale, tuttavia, \u00e8 riconoscibile un generale ridimensionamento del ruolo delle ONG all\u2019interno del settore.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Future for Italian NGOs? A Critical Reading of the Recent Evolution of Nongovernmental Cooperation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, international cooperation has experienced important transformations that have affected Italian NGOs, changing their objectives, strategies and modes of action. Specific object of investigation are the structural transformations that are affecting the sector, as these produce relevant consequences in the way NGOs act and therefore in the territories involved by international cooperation projects. In particular, the research, based on quantitative data and institutional documents, follows three specific issues: the dimension of the organizations, the dependence of NGOs on public funding, and the depoliticization of the sector. The analysis describes a rather diverse scenario, within which, however, a general downsizing of the role of NGOs is recognizable.<\/span><\/p>\n
