Il turismo «dell’oltre»: un’occasione di sviluppo territoriale?
I racconti legati al paranormale hanno da sempre stimolato la fantasia degli esseri umani. Nell’Occidente, tiepido da un punto di vista religioso, tuttavia, la carica di interesse e di curiosità portata dal paranormale e dall’occulto sembra non conoscere una significativa crisi. Ha dato vita, anzi, a un settore specifico di turismo di nicchia particolarmente fiorente in alcune città degli Stati Uniti d’America: il cosiddetto paranormal tourism. Può, dunque, il turismo «dell’oltre» rappresentare anche in Italia una risorsa per lo sviluppo territoriale?
The Tourism «of the Beyond»: an Occasion of Territorial Development?
Stories related to the paranormal have always stimulated the imagination of human beings. In the Western world, always warm from a religious point of view, however, the charge of interest and curiosity brought by the paranormal and by the occult does not seem to experience a significant crisis. Indeed, it has given rise to a specific niche tourism sector that is particularly flourishing in some cities in the United States of America: the so-called paranormal tourism. Could tourism «of the beyond» therefore also represent a resource for territorial development in Italy?
Le tourisme de « l’au-delà » : une ressource de développement territorial ?
Les contes liés au paranormal ont toujours stimulé l’imagination des êtres humains. Cependant, alors que l’importance de la religion s’est affaiblie en Occident, l’intérêt et la curiosité liés au paranormal et à l’occulte ne semblent pas connaître de crise significative. En effet, ils ont donné naissance à un secteur touristique de niche spécifique, particulièrement florissant dans certaines villes des États-Unis d’Amérique : le tourisme dit paranormal. Le tourisme de « l’au-delà » pourrait-il donc représenter une ressource de développement territorial également en Italie ?
