Conferenze aperte al pubblico nell’ambito dell’International Joint Master Programme on “Climate Change and Diversity – Sustainable Territorial Development (CCD – STeDe)”

L’International Joint Master Programme on “Climate Change and Diversity – Sustainable Territorial Development (CCD – STeDe)” inizia le attività il 12 settembre con il Kick Off Seminar di una settimana che introduce gli studenti alla laurea magistrale internazionale ed al contesto italiano.
Sono previste due conferenze internazionali aperte al pubblico.

13th September 2022, 15.00-17.00 CEST | Landscape of Justice: agroecology, nature matrix, food sovereignty (Ivette Perfecto)

Ivette Perfecto is James E. Crowfoot Collegiate Professor of Environmental Justice at the School for Environmental and Sustainability, University of Michigan. She teaches “Globalization and its Discontent: Struggles for Food, Water and Energy” and “Diverse Farming Systems (NRE 553). She is co-author of the books “Nature’s Matrix: Linking Agriculture, Conservation and Food Sovereignty” in 2009 (re-edited in 2019), and “Ecological Complexity and Agroecology” (2018). The conference will focus on the innovative concept of nature’s matrix, intertwined with the challenges of agroecological transition, food sovereignty, and social and environmental justice.

14th September 2022, 11.30-13.00 CEST | “European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas: experiences of alliance among communities, tourism opportunities, and places“ (Luca Dalla Libera, Luca Lietti, Giacomo Munegato)

Luca Dalla Libera, Luca Lietti and Giacomo Munegato work with Agenda 21 Consulting, a consulting firm specialized in sustainable development processes and community sustainable tourism. They will share their experiences of facilitating many community tourism processes in protected areas of Italy and Southern East Europe in the last 15 years. The implementation of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas will demonstrate practical examples of participatory community territorial development, creating new alliances among nature, places, and tourism.
