Matteo Puttilli segnala che è stata pubblicata la seconda circolare della call for sessions del convegno EUGEO 2027.
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share the Second Circular of EUGEO 2027 – Societies in Transition, the 11th EUGEO Congress on the Geography of Europe, which will take place in Florence, 1–4 September 2027, hosted by the University of Florence.
The first two keynote events have now been announced:
– A keynote lecture by Antonis Vradis (University of St Andrews).
– A keynote panel discussion with Simona Iammarino (Gran Sasso Science Institute / London School of Economics and Political Science) and Karen Lai (Durham University), chaired by Silvia Grandi (University of Bologna / National Research Council), exploring economic transformations and their uneven territorial implications.
These events form part of a programme combining lectures, conversations and panel discussions across different fields of geography. Further details and additional keynote events will be announced in the coming months.

Call for Sessions: proposals welcome until 31 October 2026
We invite session proposals addressing the transformations reshaping contemporary societies, territories and environments. Contributions from all areas of human and physical geography are welcome, including proposals engaging with other contemporary geographical debates. We particularly encourage sessions that bring geographical traditions, sub-disciplines and international communities into dialogue.

Please find the Second Circular attached, with information on the Congress, session proposals, key dates and registration fees. Further information is available on the Congress website: https://www.eugeo2027.unifi.
